2020 - 2020
This station broadcasts for very long, often 20 to 30 minutes. I've observed that 18040 kHz is often occupied in the very early hours (0000-0130 UTC). transmits in AM, but the upper sideband is much stronger than lower.
Runs on a schedule, but hardly transmits nowadays.
A better recording of the announcer's voice
V26 is not often reported online, however it is very active! I cannot say this with the upmost certainty, but from a few months of monitoring, I believe this runs near-consistently daily at 2339z. It is heard best in east Asia.
When V26 first transmits, the message is short, 1-2 minutes long. a few minutes after, Q26 broadcasts on LSB, then M95 in CW. V26 will then broadcast a much longer message in USB.
A strange transmission sending irregular groups
this station is also somewhat unreported. It's pretty active as well. with help of this, I've noted V28 somewhat consistently broadcasts around 4494 kHz at 2100/2200 UTC (see link) currently. I haven't been very dedicated in my attempt to monitor it, so I don't speak with the most certainty.
V28 uses a variety of live announcers and often transmits in poor, sometimes illegible quality. It transmits in AM, and usually only lasts around 10 minutes. I have seen it abruptly stop at 10 past the hour, however I have also seen it go past that with no issue. I have also seen V28 shift frequencies mid-tx. It's unprofessional to say the least. Often, the YL is almost screaming into the microphone.
calm OM and shouting YL.
Strange jingle, OM in background. the jingle was very clear at the beginning, and could be heard at times as the transmission continued.
Lower pitched and slower paced. It's worth noting as of late the station has been getting deeper and slower, even more from this recording.
VC03 is a presumably unscheduled live-read Chinese station. Seen in both USB and LSB.
A male voice I hear a lot.
Female voices
There is likely a relationship to VC03. I tried to decode the ALE at the end, to an empty message.
Another one. the full recording is over 4 minutes long, and i know she went for longer!
